Superstitions Night Canceled; Two Virginia Beach Visitor Centers to Close Sunday and Monday

Due to Hurricane Sandy, Superstitions Night at the historic Lynnhaven House is canceled. The event was scheduled for tonight, with tours at 6 and 9 p.m.

 

Also, the Virginia Beach Visitor Center on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel will be closed Sunday and Monday. The Visitor Center at First Landing State Park – the Chesapeake Bay Center – will be closed Sunday and may be closed Monday. The Visitor Center at the end of Interstate 264 may close early Sunday, depending on weather conditions.

 

So far, no decisions have been made about city libraries, recreation centers, the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, which has a Virginia Symphony concert scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
