Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission Heats Up for June Helping Hands Projects

Friday, June 08, 2012

As a part of the Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission’s (VBCCC) Helping Hands Program, the environmental organization will beautify the yards of three elderly and disabled residents in Virginia Beach during the month of June. On Saturday, June 9, June 23, and June 30, the VBCCC will lead dozens of residents and Navy-personnel volunteers as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to maintain an environmentally vital community.

Individuals, civic groups, and corporations are encouraged to volunteer for this, and other VBCCC supported programs, as the organization’s efforts have long-term positive effects on the sustainability of the Virginia Beach community.
