Attend the Salem Lakes Trail Public Information Meeting

Monday, June 11, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Salem Elementary School, 3961 Salem Lakes Blvd

Monday, June 04, 2012

City of Virginia Beach Departments Parks & Recreation and Public Works will be hosting a Public Information Meeting regarding the asphalt trail removal surrounding the stormwater pond in the Salem Lakes neighborhood.

Public access to the pedestrian pathway located parallel to the lake behind homes along Centennial Circle and several connecting streets in the Salem Lakes neighborhood is closed due to embankment erosion. The asphalt trail’s close proximity to the erosion is a public safety concern.

The meeting will be held at Salem Elementary School on Monday, June 11, 2012 beginning at 6:30 pm, and is open to the public.

For more information, please contact Parks & Natural Areas staff Rick Rowe at 385-1120 or Mike Parkman at 385-1189.
