Join us for a day of celebration at Bayside Recreation Center, located at 4500 First Court Road, in honor of twenty years of fun! A variety of activities, programs and drop-in group fitness classes will be available for you – with no membership needed! Enjoy free access to the recreation center, including the weight room and drop-in fitness classes, from 6:00 am until 9:15 pm, Monday, April 23, 2012 at Bayside Recreation Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.


Free programs for adults include billiards, table tennis, adult basketball, racquetball and wallyball, and drop-in group fitness classes. Kids will enjoy the youth game room, indoor playground, Wii tournament, and sportwall challenge, all at no charge. (Please note that adult basketball requires a valid photo ID, and that racquetball and wallyball require reservations up to 24 hrs. in advance.)


Bayside Community Recreation Center is an 83,931 square foot recreation center that opened April 23, 1992. Facility amenities include a youth game room with an indoor play structure, adult billiards, an indoor gymnasium, a sportwall, two indoor racquetball courts, a 8 lane, 25 meter indoor swimming pool, a weight room with free weights and cardiovascular equipment, a dance studio, and more. Membership to the recreation center grants access to all 6 Virginia Beach Recreation Centers. Rates for Virginia Beach residents range from $29 for children to $79 for adults for 12 months. Non-resident rates are also available.
