VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – On June 21, 2022 at approximately 5:34 PM, officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a call for service in the 3500 Block of Dana Lane for the report of a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The suspect, identified as Elvis White (33/M) of Virginia Beach, and the victim had engaged in a verbal dispute. During the altercation, White opened fire, shooting the victim in both legs.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
White is being held without bond and currently faces charges for Malicious Wounding and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
