The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health will host a FREE COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. until noon at New Hope Baptist Church, 395 Old Great Neck Road.

Available vaccines include Johnson & Johnson (one dose), and the first and second doses of Moderna and Pfizer. This includes people who have received an organ transplant, who are actively being treated for cancer, who have HIV, or are receiving any other treatment that affects their immune system. It is recommended that individuals who believe they may be eligible for the third dose should consult their physician, or refer to CDC guidelines: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/immuno.html

Appointments for Saturday are encouraged, however, walk-ins will be accepted. Children under 18 will receive the Pfizer vaccine and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Visit the link below to schedule your appointment time:

The Delta variant is dominant in Virginia, driving an increase in COVID-19 cases. Vaccines are the best defense, drastically reducing the risk of infection and hospitalization.
