Commonwealth v. Andre Jeru Bernard Bigby-Defendant Sentenced to Maximum for Violation of Probation

Virginia Beach, Va. – Colin D. Stolle, Commonwealth's Attorney for the city of Virginia Beach, announced that Andre Jeru Bernard Bigby, age 33, formerly of the 1700 block of Delaney Street in Virginia Beach, Virginia, was sentenced today by Circuit Court Judge James Lewis for Violation of Probation.  Judge Lewis sentenced Bigby to serve thirty-one (31) years in the Virginia Department of Corrections. This was the maximum sentence allowed by law.

Bigby was on probation for Robbery, Use of a Firearm, Abduction, Conspiracy and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. His probation was violated for a new conviction of 1st degree Murder from  December 11th, 2019.
