Serious Crash 4800 Block Ferrell Parkway

Friday, April 02, 2021

On Friday, April 2, 2021 at approximately 4:32AM, Emergency Communications received a call for service concerning a single vehicle crash in the 4800 block of Ferrell Parkway.

Police arrived and located a 4-door sedan and a single occupant of that vehicle. The preliminary investigation suggests that the vehicle was traveling westbound in the 4800 block of Ferrell Parkway when it left the roadway, struck a tree in the median, and rolled over as it crossed into oncoming eastbound lanes on Ferrell Parkway. The adult male driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was ejected at some point during the crash. Nightingale responded and transported the driver to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.

At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or speed played a contributing factor in the crash. There were no other vehicles or people involved or injured in this incident.

The Fatal Crash Team (FACT) responded to the scene and will be the lead investigators on this case. All eastbound traffic on Ferrell Parkway from Pleasant Valley Road to Salem Road is suspended for the ongoing investigation. Use alternate routes and avoid this area.

This is all of the information available at this time.
