​* UPDATE -Third Arrest Made

As investigators continued to gather evidence in this case, it was determined there was a third suspect involved who fled the state shortly after the shooting.

On January 8th warrants were obtained on 22-year-old Tyrion Logan of Virginia Beach.  He has been charged with use of a firearm in commission of a felony and aggravated malicious wounding. Logan was arrested on January 14th in Youngstown, Ohio.  He will be extradited back to Virginia Beach to face these charges.

On December 4th, 2020 two arrests were made in connection with this crime.

22-year-old E'ze Anyanwu Pritchard, of Virginia Beach, was arrested and charged with multiple firearm violations to include; use of a firearm in commission of a felony, felonious assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

24-year-old Verneka Lynnae Wiggins, of Virginia Beach, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact in a felony.


After gathering information through the preliminary investigation, it is believed that the suspects and victim were not known to each other.  This case is still being actively investigated by members of the departments investigative division.

On December 3, 2020 at 12:38 pm, Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report of a shooting in the 5500 block of Lynnhaven Parkway.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim who had sustained a life threatening injury from an apparent gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital by VBEMS.

The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in his vehicle, on Lynnhaven Parkway when he was shot by an unknown suspect/suspects. This investigation is still in the very early stages as detectives work vigorously to gather the facts. Additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
