*3rd Update - Arrest Made*

Emanuel William Wilder was taken into custody by authorities in Lake City, Florida on September 30th.  He is being held on a no bond status at this time, while awaiting extradition.



*2nd UPDATE*

Investigators are asking for the publics' assistance in locating Emanuel William Wilder after he failed to appear in court on September 22nd to answer for the below listed charges. After publicly seeking additional information regarding this case, investigators have obtained sufficient corroborating facts to obtain charges.

Investigators screened this case with the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, who approved the following charges against 20-year-old Emanuel William Wilder of Chesapeake, Virginia.

  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Disturbing the Peace
  • Abusive Language
  • Reckless Driving

Norfolk police department located Wilder in their city on June 24th and served the warrants. 



​On Sunday, May 31st 2020 there was an incident at the Virginia Beach oceanfront involving a red truck for which investigators are seeking additional information.

The truck was involved in two specific altercations that detectives wish to learn more about, from anyone that may have personally witnessed.

The attached video first shows the driver of the truck, a white male without a shirt on, arguing with a group of people.  The subsequent clips show the male getting into his truck and driving through the crowd in the 2000 block of Atlantic Ave.
