Honor a Veteran with a Memorial Paver at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial Park

Pay tribute to a veteran (family member, friend or co-worker) by having a brick memorial paver placed in his or her honor at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial Park.

Orders for brick pavers are being accepted by members of the Virginia Beach Mayor's Veterans Committee and will be placed in the William L. "Billy" Myers Sr. Veterans Memorial Park in time for this year's Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25, 2020. 

The park, located behind the Tidewater Veterans Memorial at 19th Street and across from the Virginia Beach Convention Center, will feature pavers dedicated to any person who has ever served in any branch of the United States Armed Services. The paving stone may be inscribed with his or her name with a painted finish and will be placed in the park. 

Pavers are available in two sizes:

  • 4" x 8" - 3 lines and 14 characters long (including spaces) per line - $100 each
  • 8" x 8" - 6 lines and 14 characters long (including spaces) per line - $200 each

To order a memorial paver (brick):

  • Complete and submit the form .
  • Print out a copy of the form and send it along with your check made payable to VAVVF
  • Mail your check and order form to: Virginia Beach Mayor's Veterans Committee, P.O. Box 4314, Virginia Beach, VA 23454

NOTE: A check must be received before an order can be placed on your behalf.

The deadline for pavers to be placed in time for Veterans Day is April 5, 2020.
