Serious crash at Northampton Boulevard/Baker Road

​On Sunday, October 6, 2019 at approximately 5:00 a.m., Emergency Communications received a call for crash at the intersection of Northampton Boulevard and Baker Road. There were multiple patients transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital with injuries. Three ​patients have minor injuries and one patient is believed to have serious injuries. Preliminary investigations determined that the vehicles were traveling westbound on Northampton Boulevard. One vehicle was attempting to turn right onto Baker Road from the middle lane. That driver proceeded into the right lane. The vehicle already traveling in the right lane was struck on the passenger’s side. The front seat passenger of that vehicle received serious injuries. The driver who made the improper lane change was cited for Unsafe Lane Change. This case remains under investigation by members of the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT). No other information is available at this time. This release will be updated as soon as information becomes available.
