Tree Removal Work to Impact Traffic on Crags Causeway and Elbow Road March 7 and 9

Wednesday, March 06, 2019

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation will be conducting tree removals on Thursday, March 7 and Saturday, March 9 that may cause disruptions to traffic patterns.

On Thursday, work will take place on Crags Causeway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and traffic will be detoured onto Baum Road. This removal will impact the entire length of Crags Causeway, so motorists should use an alternative route during this time.

On Saturday, tree Removal on Elbow Road will require southbound lane closure. Located approximately 500-feet from the intersection of Elbow Road and Salem Road headed south, the work will be conducted by Parks and Landscape Services personnel from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
