Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

UPDATE - November 15, 2018

On November 14, 2018,  Detectives gleaned information leading to the identification of the suspect.  Members of the department's Robbery Squad and members of the department's Warrant / Fugitive Unit located this man.

Arrested:  Tyler Perry Miranda, 25, of Virginia Beach.  Miranda has been charged with Robbery and Possession of a Controlled​ Substance.  He is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.

On November 13th at 9:41 a.m. there was a report of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 300 Little Neck Road.

The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and passed her a note demanding money. No weapon was seen and there were no injuries reported.​

The suspect fled the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect is described to be a white male, slim build,  20-30 years old. He has slight facial hair and was wearing a light colored hoodie with a camouflage ball cap. 

Robbery detectives are asking for assistance in identifying the below pictured suspect.​

There is no further information at this time. This incident is currently being investigated by members of our Robbery Unit.
