VBFD's Accelerant Detecting Canine's Findings Positive

Once again, the Virginia Beach Fire Department's accelerant detecting canine, "Sadie" comes through for fire investigators.  Yesterday, the Virginia Beach Fire Marshal's Office confirmed that last week's residential fire in the 5700 block of Paiute Road was intentionally set.  As part of their investigation, the canine was deployed to search the house for traces of ignitable liquids.  Investigators report that the areas where the dog alerted tested positive for the presence of an ignitable liquid.  Sadie, a black Labrador Retriever is almost six years old and been with the VBFD for almost five years.
