On Monday, November 7, Tidewater Utility Construction Inc., under contract with the Department of Public Utilities, will begin Phase I of a two-phase project to replace sanitary sewer lines on Virginia Beach Boulevard, between Yorktown Avenue and Eureka Avenue.  This work is necessary to ensure that the sanitary sewer system continues to meet local, state and federal requirements.

Repairs will take place daily, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. During Phase I, the two right eastbound lanes of Virginia Beach Boulevard, between North Lynnhaven Road and Foundry Lane, will be closed.  Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the lane closures in place.

Phase I repairs are expected to be completed by November 16th, weather permitting. For more information, contact Rey DeVera with Virginia Beach Public Utilities at (757) 385-4091.
