Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

​On July 9, 2018 at 2:38 p.m. Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report of a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1068 Independence Blvd.

The suspect entered the bank and demanded money, after obtaining an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency he fled the area on foot. There were no injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's-30's, 5'7-5'8 with a medium build. He has short hair and a slight beard and moustache.

He was seen wearing a zip up sweatshirt, with a "graffiti print" t-shirt underneath, a dark colored baseball cap with white writing on the front and sunglasses.
