June is one of the busiest months of the year at the Virginia Beach Convention Center (VBCC). Almost 30 different events, including more than a dozen high school and university graduation ceremonies, will take place beginning June 3. Here's a sampling of some of the events taking place this June:

June 3:  Spring Fest Car Show
Spring Fest is an annual auto event featuring some of the finest cars on the East Coast. Since 2010, this show has grown from a local gathering to an indoor/outdoor event drawing over 1,000 custom cars from up and down the East Coast and beyond. Spring Fest is featured on many car enthusiasts' websites as well as in a number of national and international print media. Spectator tickets are $10 each.

June 7: Virginia Beach City Public Schools STEM Trifecta Challenge
The Office of Technical & Career Education (TCE) in Virginia Beach City Public Schools provides elementary, middle and high school students with unique, hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities that expand students' educational opportunities. The STEM Trifecta is an initiative created by TCE that allows students, teachers, mentors, administrators, and industry and community partners to join together to create and promote STEM and entrepreneurship awareness through project-based learning activities. Participant pre-registration is required. Parking is free.

June 12 – 16: Virginia Beach City Public Schools Graduations
Over a span of five days, the VBCC will welcome more than 50,000 high school graduates, family members and friends to celebrate their academic accomplishments. For information about each of these ceremonies, click here. Free, on-site parking.

June 22 – 24: Revel Dance Convention
Dancers of all ages gather annually for this dance convention which includes dance lessons, competitions, networking and fun. Jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, ballet and tap are just a few of the dance styles featured. Dancer pre-registration required. This is a ticketed event for observers.
