Check out Wahab Public Law Library - Public Invited to Open House May 21

Tuesday, May 08, 2018

Wahab Public Law Library, a branch of Virginia Beach Public Library, is holding an open house on Monday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to noon. Located in the Virginia Beach Judicial Center, Bldg. 10B, at 2425 Nimmo Parkway, the library reopened in January 2018 following renovations that include a more user-friendly layout, improved technology and new carpet and paint.

The open house will feature tours of the updated space and information about the legal and law-related resources available, such as Lexis Advance, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) materials and practice guides, and more. Light refreshments will be served.

Named for former Virginia Beach Circuit Judge Robert S. Wahab Jr., the library was dedicated to the public in 1970 to provide free access to current legal and law-related information for research and the practice of law, serving the general public, government agency employees, the judiciary, and members of the legal profession.
