2018 Personal Property Tax Drive-Thru Appeals Available Through June 8

Monday, May 07, 2018

Commissioner of the Revenue Phil Kellam wants to remind taxpayers that personal property tax bills are due Tuesday, June 5. However, for the 20th consecutive year, Commissioner Kellam has set up a drive-thru appeals process to allow Virginia Beach residents to appeal their assessment. The drive-thru appeals process will run through Friday, June 8. If citizens have already paid their personal property bill, they may still appeal and will be refunded any monies should the assessment be lowered.

The drive-thru is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and has been relocated. Follow the signs to the Landstown Road entrance at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex, 4001 Dam Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.

For more information, visit Personal Property Assessment Appeals.

Please Note:  For safety reasons, the Commissioner of the Revenue's drive-thru appeals tent will close during extreme weather conditions and will not conduct normal business activity until favorable weather returns.
