Armed Robbery - Fulton Bank

On ​Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Emergency Communications received a report of an armed bank robbery at the Fulton Bank located at 3545 Dam Neck Road.  The report was received that a man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The man obtained the undisclosed amount of currency and headed to the exit.  Prior to exiting the bank, the suspect left an object behind.  To ensure everyone's safety, an abundance of caution was utilized, and members of the Bomb Squad responded.  It was definitively determined that the object was not a threat. 

No injuries were reported. 

The suspect is described as a male of undermined race, standing approximately​ 5' 9" tall, with a medium build.
