Attempted BB&T Bank Robbery

​On Wednesday, September 27, 2016, at approximately 9:24 a.m., the suspect entered the BB&T Bank located at 536 Newtown Road.  The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money, but quickly fled the bank without obtaining currency.  No weapons were seen, no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20s, who stands approximately 5' 8" to 5" 10" tall, weighs between 150 to 165 pounds, he has a short haircut and a light beard.  He was wearing with a medium build.  He was wearing an olive green hoodie with unique matching emblem on front and back, black pants, and white tennis shoes, possibly the Nike brand.
