The Virginia Beach Fire Department is proud to announce the appointment of a new Deputy Chief of Operations, James Ramsey.  Ramsey has been serving as the interim Deputy Chief since November of last year but Fire Chief David Hutcheson made it official this week when he handed Chief Ramsey his new badge during an impromptu ceremony at the Fire Administration Center.
