One of Virginia Beach Public Library's 10 locations, the Wahab Public Law Library located at 2425 Nimmo Parkway, Virginia Beach Judicial Center, Bldg. 10B, is closing Aug. 1 for renovations. It is expected to reopen in about three months. The renovations include an updated, more user-friendly layout for customers, new carpet and paint, and improved technology.

Limited Virginia Beach Public Library services, including material returns and pickups and library card registrations and renewals, will be provided from a satellite office next door to the law library in the Virginia Beach Judicial Center. Customers will also have access to a core print collection of Virginia legal resources at the temporary site and online legal resources. Those who need computer access or more in-depth services may visit any other Virginia Beach Public Library location while the law library is renovated.
