Detectives Search For Serial Robbery Suspect

Since May 8, 2017, there have been four commercial robberies in Virginia Beach that share some similarities.  These cases are believed to be linked based on the suspect's description and the M.O.  In each case, the suspect enters the business, displays a gun, and demands money.  Robbery investigators believe that the same suspect may be responsible for similar cases in Norfolk.  


The dates and locations in Virginia Beach are as follows:

May 8, 2017 at 9:40 p.m. – 7-Eleven, 325 Kellam Road

May 8, 2017 at 10:27 p.m. – 7-Eleven, 6673 Indian River Road

May 10, 2017 at 1:39 a.m. – 7-Eleven, 3964 Holland Road

May 10, 2017 at 1:59 a.m. – 7-Eleven, 5756 Northampton Boulevard

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 20's to 30's, approximately 5' 10' tall, and weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds. 






Anyone with information about these crimes is encouraged to call the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers Office at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.  Callers remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.


These cases remain under investigation by members of the Department's Robbery Squad.
