Seeking Fitness Professionals and Lifeguards!

Virginia Beach Parks & Rec Holding Hiring Events May 11 & 12

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is recruiting qualified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and lifeguards to join our team. Drop-in interviews have been scheduled May 11 and 12, and the department is hoping to see a great turnout of those looking to join us to promote healthy lifestyles in all of our recreation centers!

Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainer Auditions
(May 11 | 4 to 8 pm | Bow Creek Recreation Center)
Interested applicants should come dressed in fitness attire and bring their own music. For full details, please review the Facebook event listing. 

Certified Lifeguard Interviews
(May 12 | 5 to 7 pm | ages 16 & up | Seatack Recreation Center)
The lifeguard interview will consist of three parts: water skills, CPR skills, and verbal question & answer. All of the information to prepare for the interview can be found on the Facebook event.
