Credit Union Robbery Investigation Underway

​Friday, April 14, 2017, at approximately 2:48 p.m., a masked male entered the Chartway Federal Credit Union located at 2089 General Booth Boulevard.  The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employee.  After obtaining the currency, the suspect fled on foot.  No injuries were reported.


The suspect who was wearing dark colored clothing is described as a black male standing approximately 5' 9" to 5' 10" tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
