Traffic Mast Arms to Be Installed on Saturday in Virginia Beach - Sandbridge Road to Close Temporarily

Virginia Beach Public Works has announced that crews will be installing traffic signal mast arms at two intersections in Virginia Beach on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

The first installation of four mast arms will take place at the Laskin Road/North Hilltop intersection beginning at 6 a.m.  Traffic is not expected to be affected.

The second installation of one mast arm will be at the intersection of Sandbridge Road and Heritage Park Drive beginning at 10 a.m.  Traffic on Sandbridge Road will be stopped for approximately 15 minutes for the installation.   Emergency vehicles will be able to get through the intersection.  Police will be on site at each location to help manage traffic.   Once the project is completed, traffic will resume as normal.

All work is weather permitting.
