Man Injured After Being Shot With an Arrow

The preliminary investigation has revealed that this incident resulted from a previous altercation between the victim and several other individuals who have been identified.

The adult male victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

This is still very much an active case; charges may be filed after further investigation.

No additional details are available at this time.


​On 3/19/17, at approximately 8:16 pm, Emergency Communications received a call for an adult male shot with an arrow while driving in the 3500 block of Chester Street.  The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.  Virginia Beach Police are cavassing the area for a suspect in this ongoing investigation.  

Detective Dewberry, of the Virginia Beach Police Homicide Unit is the lead investigator assigned.
