Burglary Investigation Leads to Recovery of Narcotics Materials

On March 12, 2017 at approximately 0815 Virginia Beach Police responded to the 1100 block of Northvale Drive for a possible burglary of a residence.  Officers arrived on scene and observed obvious signs of forced entry into the home.  As officers were investigating the burglary, they observed narcotics paraphernalia.

The Virginia Beach Fire Department's Hazardous Materials Team responded to assist due to possible meth making materials in the home.  For precautionary reasons, Northvale Drive has been closed to traffic from the 1100 block to the 1300 block.

One arrest was made in connection to the burglary. 37-year-old Evan Eugene Reames​ III of Virginia Beach was charged with two counts of Breaking & Entering with intent to assault. He is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility on a no bond status.

4 individuals are being questioned in reference to the narcotics violations.

This is an active investigation, no further details available at this time.

**UPDATE**

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the following:

39 year-old Kimberly Francis Volkman of Virginia Beach, VA was charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of manufacture, sale ,possession of a controlled substance

40 year-old Eric Scott Addison of Virginia Beach, VA was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

45 year-old Michael Joseph Hoiness Jr. of Chesapeake, VA was charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacture, sale, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to violate drug control act.

36 year-old Shawn Michael Addison of Virginia Beach, VA was charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacture, sale possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to violate drug control act.
