Process Improvement Steering Committee to Meet Wednesday, Sept. 28

The Process Improvement Steering Committee, created by the City Council to improve government processes, will meet Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. at the Municipal Center in Building 1, Room 350.  The public is invited to observe and comment. 


The meeting will include a presentation by John Maher, vice president of Mainstream GS, to discuss strategic alignment and the Balanced Scorecard approach. Other items on the agenda include:

  • Development review and building permit process
  • Review of city payroll process
  • Strategies to keep small businesses open and expand those businesses

The steering committee was authorized by City Council ordinance on May 24, at the recommendation of Councilman Bob Dyer.  It consists of eight community members appointed by the City Council.
