First Friday Art Attack: Ornament Decorating
(Dec 2 | 6 to 7 pm | ages 15 & under | Great Neck Rec Center)
This month's Art Attack project is sure to get kids in the holiday spirit. Create a dazzling decoration to jazz up any tree. No registration required.

gles Table Tennis Tournament (Dec 3 | 9 am to 4:30 pm | ages 18 & up | Bayside Rec Center | $30 members; $38 non-members)
Grab a paddle and get ready for an awesome round robin table tennis tournament!  Trophies will be awarded for first and second place finishers. Register ASAP at the Bayside Rec Center.

Seatack Family Pickleball Night
(Dec 6 | 6 to 8:30 pm | ages 16 & up | Seatack Rec Center)
A little bit of tennis, a little bit of badminton - Pickleball has a huge following and is a fantastic way to get in a little family fitness in low impact, but competitive way! Register today.

Friday Free Family Movie Night (

Enjoy a night of family fun with our monthly movie series that also includes games, crafts, and of course – popcorn! We're featuring The Grinch this month, so join us for this festive favorite. Please register in advance.

Movie in the Pool: Frosty the Snowman

It might be winter, but it's always pool time with Parks & Rec. Hop in the shallow end to check out a classic seasonal movie with the whole family. No registration is required.

Santa's Workshop Holiday Carnival
(Dec 17 | 11 am to 1 pm | ages 3 & up | Great Neck Rec Center | $10)
Enjoy reindeer games and holiday joy with Old Saint Nick. Refreshments, prizes, and crafts are all part of the festive fun! Reserve your spot as space is limited.

Dodgeball Tournament
(Dec 27 | 10 am to 12 pm | ages 6 to 12 | Bayside Rec Center | $7)
Ready, set, DODGEBALL! Sign the kids up for this old school classic that gets them moving and never fails to deliver a fun time. Register today.

Free Deep Water Running Clinic
(Dec 28 | 12 to 1 pm OR 6 to 7 pm | ages 14 & up | Great Neck Rec Center)
Compliment your outdoor training with water running. Water exercise is an excellent, low-impact activity for recovery and rehabilitation, while maintaining high cardiovascular endurance. The water also offers a great mode of cross training in a three-dimensional protective environment. Join us for this free clinic and look for the new program to launch early 2017. Please register in advance to participate in one of the clinic sessions.

Water Polo Clinic
(Dec 31 | 2 to 3:30 pm | ages 10 to 18 | Bayside Rec Center | $16)
Do you like basketball, soccer, and swimming? Then try water polo! This clinic will introduce you to the basic skills and rules of water polo. Participants must be deep water safe. Register now to reserve your spot.
