Beach House Announces Sponsorship of Child and Adult Day Care Center Food Program

The Department of Human Services Beach House program announces the sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Beach House provides support and rehabilitation to adults who have been severely disabled due to serious and persistent mental illness. This prevocational psychiatric rehabilitation program provides opportunities to learn and use independent living skills.

Beach House will receive free or reduced price meal reimbursement based on the income scales below until June 30, 2017.  The same meals will be available at no separate charge to all program participants at the CACFP facility without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation. Specifically, lunch will be available to all Beach House consumers five days per week, in accordance with all the guidelines and requirements of the Virginia Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) under the United States Department of Agriculture.

Meals will be provided at the Beach House Center, 3143 Magic Hollow Blvd., Suite 100. You may also write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested on the form.
