Honor a Veteran with a Memorial Paver at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial Park

Orders for Pavers Now Being Accepted by the Mayor’s Veterans Committee

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – July 25, 2016 – Citizens can pay tribute to a veteran (family member, friend or co-worker) by having a brick memorial paver placed in his or her honor at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial Park. Orders for brick pavers are now being taken by members of the Virginia Beach Mayor's Veterans Committee. Pavers will placed in the William L. "Billy" Myers, Sr. Veterans Memorial Park in time for this year's Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2016. The park is located behind the Tidewater Veterans Memorial at 19th Street, across from the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

​Any person who has ever served in any branch of the United States Armed Services is eligible to have a paving stone inscribed with his or her name placed in the Veterans Memorial Park.

Brick pavers are inscribed with a painted finish and are available in two sizes:

  • 4" x 8" - 3 lines and 14 characters long (including spaces) per line - $100 each
  • 8" x 8" - 6 lines and 14 characters long (including spaces) per line - $200 each
