Farm Stands Return to Four Beach Libraries this Summer

​Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) and the Virginia Beach Department of Agriculture have partnered for the fourth year to provide Beach residents with convenient access to locally-grown farm products. Farmers will set up stands beginning June 2 at Bayside and Kempsville libraries. Two additional stands will open at the Central and Princess Anne libraries later in June. Following is the 2016 VBPL Farm Stand schedule:

Bayside Area Library: Flip Flop Farmer
Thursdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Thursday, June 2

Kempsville Area Library: Vaughan Farms
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Thursday, June 2

Princess Anne Area Library: Nottalotta Acres Urban Farm
Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Tuesday, June 7

Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library: Flanagan Farm
Tuesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., beginning Tuesday, June 21

Produce will vary by location and season.
