Mount Trashmore Lot to Close for 75 Days Starting Jan. 12

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

The gravel parking lot at Mount Trashmore Park off of South Boulevard will be closed beginning January 12 for approximately 75 days, weather permitting. A contractor will be using the lot off for laydown and equipment storage during a Public Utilities project that will upgrade and extend the current water line and install additional fire hydrants within the park to accommodate a future maintenance storage building. The parking lot will be closed to the public during this project time period.

For more information about this project, please contact Chris Johnson with Public Utilities at 757-385-4857 or Brian Phelps with Planning, Design & Development at 757-385-1319.
