​(Virginia Beach, VA) Take advantage of the cooler weather with an outdoor workout. Sample the different fitness classes Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation offers throughout the year during a free expo on Saturday, October 15th from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach. Fend off that inevitable holiday weight gain with classes like: Bosu®, Kickboxing, TRX® and Zumba®!  Come dressed ready to work out, and don’t forget your water, mat or towel.

Health and fitness vendors will be onsite from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. providing participants with tips and resources to pursue healthy, active lifestyles. Our fitness staff will help determine what you need to reach your fitness goals. Personal trainers will be available to answer your questions and conduct body fat analyses.

Presented by Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation, Get Fit Virginia Beach 2011 is free and open to the public with onsite parking. A Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation membership is not required. For more information, contact Jane Jagodzinski by calling 385-2994.
