Sandler Center Art Gallery Opening Reception for Artist Ed Gorham Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

​The Sandler Center Art Gallery will host an artist reception today, Nov. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

WHO: The Sandler Center Art Gallery

 

WHAT: A free artist reception to meet Ed Gorham, the artist behind the newest rotating Art Gallery exhibit, “Aquatic Illusions.” Gorham’s work will be featured on the mezzanine level of the Sandler Center Art Gallery from Nov. 10 to Jan. 4.

 

The reception will also include the exhibit, “Brock Childress: A Celebration of His Life,” which is currently on display at the Sandler Center. Childress was the inaugural artist featured in the Sandler Center Art Gallery in 2010 and passed away in September 2014. Childress’ work will be on view on the balcony level of the Sandler Center Art Gallery. All pieces will be available for purchase.

 

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

 

WHERE: Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, 201 Market St.

 

HOW: The reception is free and open to the public. It is made possible by a generous gift from Tom and Juanita Felton to the Sandler Center Foundation.
