Haunted Lynnhaven: Journey Unto Death and Beyond on Oct. 24

Bring your friends to the Lynnhaven House for the first Haunted Lynnhaven: Journey Unto Death and Beyond, a haunted celebration on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 7 to 10 p.m.

During Haunted Lynnhaven: Journey Unto Death and Beyond, you will take a guided trip down the haunted boardwalk trail, into and through the historic house and end at the graveyard. During the tour, Francis Thelaball, builder of the Lynnhaven House, will recount his terrifying walk home from the tavern and the surprising events that happened after.

 

This event will feature scary sights and sounds, so guests are encouraged to be age 14 or older, although those between the ages of 10 and 13 may attend when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Halloween costumes are welcome, but no masks, please. Tickets are $5 per person.

 

About the Virginia Beach History Museums:

The Virginia Beach History Museums include the Francis Land House, Thoroughgood House, Lynnhaven House, and Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School Museum. They are owned and operated by the City of Virginia Beach Department of Museums, which provides stewardship of the city’s historic resources and programs to educate the community about local history.
