CVB Kicks Off Tourism Excellence in Business and Leadership Series Oct. 7

WHO:
The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities and the Virginia Beach Hotel Association

WHAT:
Leading industry experts will discuss the diverse circumstances of our aging population, which make accessibility a growing consideration for visitors. Learn more about the challenges travelers with disabilities face and how more inclusive marketing and an improved experience can exceed their expectations and win their loyalty. Following the disability portion of the forum, the Virginia Beach CVB will launch the Certified Tourism Ambassador program.

WHEN:
Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

WHERE:
Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th Street

COST:
Free. Anyone in the tourism industry – especially general managers, restaurateurs, attraction owners and higher-level managers – are highly encouraged to attend.  Participants should register online at www.visitvirginiabeach.com/fallforum.
