Keep Yourself & Your Business Safe

Friday, September 09, 2011

The Virginia Beach Crime Prevention Steering Committee* will hold a public meeting to discuss how to keep yourself, your business and your employees safe.  The Steering Committee meets once a month and periodically offers blocks of crime prevention training for businesses.  The next session will focus on commercial robbery awareness and prevention.  A detective from the Virginia Beach Police Department’s Robbery Squad will present information on recognizing suspicious behavior, recommended opening and closing procedures, and ways to design your business to prevent crime from occurring.

This meeting is free and open to the public.  It will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, 7 pm, at Plaza Middle School, KIVA 1 Room, 3080 South Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, VA.
