Sandpiper Road) beginning Friday, May 1 through Sunday, October 4, 2015. This is a wonderful opportunity to get out and be active with friends or family, while exploring the waterways in this beautiful area.

Operated by Wild River Outfitters, kayak and paddleboard rentals will be available according to the following schedule (hours are subject to change):

June 1 - September 7: Daily, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
September 8 - October 4: Friday to Sunday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Single boat rentals are $15 per hour; tandem boat rentals cost $25 per hour; and paddleboard rentals are $15 per hour (credit and debit cards accepted onsite). Photo identification is required. Ages 6-12 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult; ages 13 and up are eligible to paddle a single boat. Personal Flotation Devices (life jackets) and paddles will be provided with rental.

Rentals will occur unless conditions are unsafe. Thunder and lightning will require for all users to exit the water and wait until the storm passes before resuming activity. Accommodations can be provided to special needs individuals that are able to operate the equipment used to control the kayak.
