History Museums to Celebrate Moms with Super Mother’s Day Tea

The Virginia Beach History Museums will honor Mom the queen or super hero at a Super Mother’s Day Tea Party on Saturday, May 2, at the Lynnhaven House Colonial Education Center. Children are invited to dress up as their favorite prince, princess or superhero to celebrate their royally super moms, grandmas and special women in their lives.


Guests will enjoy games, art activities and refreshments. A brief tour of the Lynnhaven House is included. The celebration is recommended for children ages 4 to 12 and mothers of all ages.


Seatings are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and reservations are required. Tickets may be purchased at the Colonial Education Center, 4009 Wishart Road. Please call (757) 385-5100 for more information.
