Sister Cities Association of Virginia Beach to Hold its First International Promenade of World Fashion and Arts

The Sister Cities Association of Virginia Beach (SCAVB) will hold its First International Promenade of World Fashion and Arts on Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Oceanfront Ballroom, 3501 Atlantic Ave. in Virginia Beach. This formal attire event will feature a silent auction, international fashions, world art, dinner, and entertainment. Tickets are $30 per person. SCAVB has four sister cities: Miyazaki, Japan; Moss, Norway; Olongapo, Philippines; and North Down Co., Northern Ireland.  Virginia Beach also has a “friendship city,” San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. These relationships celebrate a community of cultures, economic development, educational exchanges, city services, medical practices, and multi-cultural sports activities. SCAVB has been recognized by Sister Cities International as the best overall program for cities 300,000 to 500,000.
