Monday, February 16, 2015

(Virginia Beach, VA) - Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation wishes to remind the public that sledding is prohibited at Mount Trashmore Park due to concerns for public safety. In the event of an accumulating snowfall, the park will be closed to all visitors. In the interest of citizen safety, city staff from Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation and Virginia Beach Police Department will enforce the no sledding policy and closure of the park.
