Love is in the Air at Princess Anne Area Library

This February, Virginia Beach Public Library’s Princess Anne branch hosts “Love in the Library,” a series of programs for adults about love and relationships. Guest speakers include Tidewater Community College psychology professor William Rogers and local author Edward Fairley.

The series kicks off Monday, Feb. 2, with “Love on the Web,” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., covering the ins and outs of online dating websites and how to stay safe.

Fairley, author of “The Handbook for Increasing Your Relationship IQ,” will lead a conversation about the roots of poor communication and how to weed them out, Thursday, Feb. 12, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the library hosts “Date with a Book,” a discussion about the hottest romance writers. Chocolate provided.

Rounding out the series, William Rogers, professor of psychology at TCC will discuss how values can determine the success of relationships in “Putting Love First,” Saturday, Feb. 28, 2 to 4 p.m.
