Four New Sports Events, 5,000+ Room Nights Secured by Virginia Beach CVB

Commitments will bring thousands more athletes and spectators to the Beach

Virginia Beach will be the home turf for four new participatory sports events this year as a result of the intense efforts of the sports marketing team at the Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), generating an estimated additional 5,320 room nights. The new 2015 events and estimated room nights include:

·         Tidewater Classic Senior Softball USA, April 14-19, 3500 estimated room nights

·         American Cornhole Organization, April 17-19, 120 estimated room nights

·         USA Ultimate Beach Championship, May 2-3, 400 estimated room nights

·         FLG V3 Summer Shootout, July 10-12, 1000 estimated room nights
