Sonia Alcantara-Antoine joined Virginia Beach Public Library (VBPL) as public services manager on Dec. 7, 2014.

“Sonia Alcantara-Antoine is the ideal person to lead VBPL’s public services team,” said VBPL Director Eva Poole. “She has strong background in creating policies in support of high quality customer service, coordinating initiatives for a large library system and in leading diverse teams. We’re thrilled to have her at VBPL, especially as we continue our strategic planning and determine how to best meet the changing needs of the Virginia Beach community.”
