Just in time for your New Year’s resolution to lead a healthier lifestyle, Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is hosting an Open House at all Virginia Beach Recreation Centers on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. This is your chance to visit any recreation center for free and see what we have to offer. You can also enter to win a $150 gift card. Each center offers a large indoor pool, weight room, cardio equipment, gymnasium and activities for all ages.
In addition to free admission, Bayside, Great Neck, Princess Anne, Seatack and Williams Farm Recreation Centers are offering free fitness classes, sport clinics, and leisure programs, including:
- Yoga, Zumba®, LesMills BODYPUMP™ and other fitness classes
- Private conversations with personal trainers
- Swim clinics for adults
- Swimming lessons for youth
- Inflatables, Nerf® battles and other activities for youth
- And more!

The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Open House is free and open to the public. A recreation center membership card is not required. Those under age 9 must participate with an adult.
