Northgate Neighborhood Park closed due to tree removal and maintenance work

(Virginia Beach, VA) - Northgate Neighborhood Park, located at 3332 Northgate Drive in the Plaza section of Virginia Beach, will be closed on Wednesday, October 8 and Thursday, October 9. Eleven trees will be removed due to structural problems, and seven other trees will be significantly pruned to remove dead, diseased and dying limbs. The park will be closed in the interest of public safety.


Weather permitting, the park will reopen to the public on Friday, October 10, 2014.
